An intimate wedding in the Potomac Highlands at the Guest House at Lost River.

I met Chuck and Jakub the day of their wedding, which often happens when I’m working at the Guest House at Lost River. Both Chuck and Jakub live and work in Washington D.C. at top businesses and organizations. These two are incredibly humble and gracious and getting to spend their day with them was pretty awesome. This was also my first LGBT wedding and am beyond stoked that they let their wedding be my first.

The day was pretty chill with no getting ready photos and after a short swim they got ready to go. Jesse and Gary, the Guest House’s owners were gracious and caring – as always – making sure that everything was going exactly how the men planned. A quick rain shower that is always a sign of a West Virginia Summer cooled the day down for a bit.

Jakub’s family is from Poland and between them insisting I take their shots of vodka, which I typically don’t do when working, but some cultures insists, I captured some of the most sincere and caring toasts and dancing. man did this group party! Below are some of my favorites from the day.
